We are attempting to nurture current generation of active citizens and sustainable leaders in Pakistan by supporting young impact partners to learn, co-exist and develop positive ideas for environmental sustainability in their communities. By enabling young people to generate the knowledge, skills and networks needed for sustainability leadership, we unleash the true potential of 60% of Pakistan’s population.
We have four mutually-reinforcing values: Creativity, Confidence, Civic Responsibility and Community Connectedness, and we hope these 4C’s can carve Green Box’s journey from idea house to young people’s action ground.
Theory of action shows that we are well placed to help young people forge their own sustainable futures, leveraging opportunities for environmental action and becoming leaders who can positively impact community systems. Across these outcomes, we will seek to learn continually about how to improve the process of making effective young environmental citizens in Pakistan.
